For Samsung S5 users, please take note that certain S5 models may experience issues with the contacts app crashing when opening synced contacts via this app. Any such occurrences should be reported to Samsung for resolution.

An important consideration for Android 4.1 and Samsung users: To prevent account removal upon reboot, it is advised to install the following app before SmoothSync: Link. Starting from Android 4.2, this issue has been rectified eliminating the need for the workaround, except in the case of Samsung devices.
